MCP has a 50-50 service ethos whereby we care for resident’s homes and the community equally. The service we deliver is not only for the benefit of our clients but more importantly for the benefit of their residents and the residents’ wider community. We want all residents to feel safe in their homes which is why we constantly look for new ways to add value to our service by routinely carrying out safety checks of door locks, fire alarms, smoke and CO (Carbon Monoxide) detectors and offer the option to residents of female operatives attending to their repair or improvement. Our very recognisable brand will help residents to identify MCP as their local, trusted service team.

Connections between our maintenance teams and their local areas are particularly strong because many of the people we employ come from and live within the local communities we serve. We engage with local people because we want to look beyond our immediate activities to see how we can add value to the communities in which we operate and ensure that the communities that we work with get maximum benefit from what we do.

When undertaking Capital Works programmes or improvements in or around our customers’ homes we take every care to ensure we treat their home as we would our own. This care does not stop there, during any Capital Works programme we also liaise with neighbouring properties and if it demands it, dependent on the size and scope of the works, with Resident Groups to ensure the community is fully aware and informed as to what is being undertaken and minimise disturbance and disruption.
