Super Mario to ride 64 miles for Teens Unite

MCP supervisor, Mario Demetriades, will be climbing into his Lycra on 26th August to take part in a 64 mile cycling challenge to raise awareness and money for Teens Unite – one of MCP’s charity partners.

Super Mario will be cycling 64 miles in a SportiveUK event that is raising money to protect rhinos from the threat of poaching. Mario will also be raising money for Teens Unite.

Teens Unite help thousands of young super heroes fight their battle against cancer. They are the only charity in the UK to provide on-going support to 13-24 year olds fighting cancer from diagnosis through to post-remission. Seven young people are diagnosed with cancer every day in the UK and Teens Unite brings them together through workshops and activities so they can spend valuable time with others their age in a similar situation to themselves. The charity helps to rebuild the confidence and self-esteem of those it supports and prevents feelings of isolation during what can be a long and lonely battle. Teens Unite bring together young people with cancer to support them from diagnosis through treatment
