Hot on the heels of our recent high-value contract wins, MCP is thrilled to announce that we have successfully secured Runnymede Borough Council’s Housing Repairs, Maintenance, and Voids Management Contract.
Located in Addlestone, Surrey, Runnymede Borough Council’s properties are located near Heathrow, servicing towns including Addlestone, Chertsey and Egham, as well as neighbouring villages in North West Surrey.
The new £6.5 million contract will commence in April 2023 and will initially run for five years to April 2028, with a possible further five-year extension. The contract includes the repair and maintenance of the Authority's owned housing stock of around 3,000, and includes void management services.
In addition to providing efficient, high-quality, and value-led repairs and maintenance services, MCP will work closely with the Runnymede housing team to deliver social initiatives that will benefit local neighbourhoods and communities - something that MCP is widely recognised for.
Managing Director Mark Gelder, said “We’re all delighted that Runnymede Borough Council has put the long-term care of their properties into our trusted hands. This new contract is another significant win for MCP as we move forward with our growth plan, but more importantly, it once again demonstrates our ability to deliver expert services that are combined with an enduring passion for making a difference to people in the community. We can’t wait to begin work next Spring.”
